“To accomplish anything, one must never give up in the face of obstacles or failures. Every great achievement was once considered impossible. Never consider the possibility of failure: as long as you persist, you will be successful.” This is the philosophy to which my personal existence is attributed. I am seventeen year old Tamerelle Browne, ambitious and self driven, determined and respectful of life, and the challenges and opportunities that are aligned with life.
Mika Roshelle O’Brien is a very sensitive, warm, caring and loving person whose life’s motto is to maintain her self respect so that she can be a positive example for others. She is very proud of the strong role that her parents, especially her mother, have played in her life and the support of her sisters and brother. Mika identifies Ms. Wendy Fitz-Williams, the 1998 Miss Universe as the catalyst for her involvement in pageantry. Born December 15, 1990 on the Island of Trinidad, Mika, or ‘Poody’, a pet name given to her by her father, migrated to Nevis at the age of six. She received her education at the Charlestown Primary School and the Charlestown Secondary School.
On 30th August 1990, the making of a sophisticated young lady was born. That child’s name was Tatiana Dore. The third born child to her parents she presently resides at Fothergills Estate, Gingerland, Nevis and carries herself with dignity, elegance and self confidence. Qualities in which she have acquired and learned from not only her up bringing but from her grade six teacher Mrs. Gracia Browne who she credits with motivating and encouraging her to succeed first and foremost academically. Additionally, Tatiana is an out going individual who enjoys dancing, singing and listening to music.
I am 19 year old MASINDA NISBETT, a Virgo, born to Florinda Gumbs and Masefield Nisbett. I reside at Craddock Road. I am a graduate of the Charlestown Primary School Class of 2001, the Charlestown Secondary School Class of 2006 with nine CXC subject passes and the Nevis Sixth Form College Class of 2008 with two A’ Levels. During my secondary years I was chosen as class prefect. I also attained distinctions in various subjects and was an avid athlete.
